The Slice. The golf shot that torments the majority of the golfing populous. The shot that has ruined many a golfers round and shows up when its least wanted. Like most coaches, this is something that I look to remedy on a day to day basis with the golfers that I see, but do you actually understand why you slice the golf ball?
In my time as a PGA coach, Ive started to see a lot of patterns emerge through as golfers come and go from the lesson tee. What I wanted to do was share some of the low hanging fruit that is available to you all, that will help you play better golf almost instantly.
In light of a recent post that I posted on Facebook, asking people what they are most looking forward to about golf when they get back, I thought it would be good to reflect on what I love about the game, and in the spirit of Erik Anders Lang, I have decided to write a letter to golf.
